This book was written to help trumpet players (and other instrumentalists) of any standard to improve their tonguing abilities.

Whether you are looking to work on your single tongue speed, double tonguing clarity, or triple tonguing accuracy, this book has every type of articulation you will need in standard trumpet repertoire.

Looking at the table of contents (see images), you will notice immediately that regardless of which aspect of tonguing you are wanting to work on, you can find an exercise that pinpoints that particular technique.

It is set out in 2 main sections: the first half of the book is mostly in major keys and is appropriate to practice double tonguing; the second half of the book is mostly in minor keys and is appropriate to practice triple tonguing; at the end of the book is a section that is appropriate to practice mixing double and triple tonguing in the same phrase. All of the book is appropriate to practice single tonguing.

It is appropriate for beginners, amateurs, students, teachers, and professionals- when it comes to articulation, few books are as versatile as this one.
