This is a brass quintet arrangement of the Overture from Leonard Bernstein’s Comic Operetta “Candide”. This piece is exciting for the audience to hear, and fun to play. The arrangement is of the full overture, and includes trumpet parts in Bb and C.

I have made this arrangement because other arrangements seemed unnecessarily difficult to play. I am confident that you will find it both musically satisfying, and also well written for each instrument (and as a bonus, it is written without the use of piccolo trumpet).
